RTA 5 - Next Generation

The RTA 5 is a highly versatile and comprehensive early detection Scanning Laser Ophthalmoscope, playing a key role in the ophthalmologist and the primary care clinic settings. The system provides clinical applications for Glaucoma, Diabetic retinopathy, AMD and other Retinal pathologies.

  • The RTA 5 covers the disc, posterior pole and peripapillary areas with densely and evenly distributed optical cross sections, providing a “big picture” of the patient’s retina.

  • The RTA 5 Report includes: A high resolution Fundus image, a color-coded retinal thickness map (overlaid on a fundus image), a thickness deviation map, a rim/cup area map, an RNFL cross section chart and a table of detailed indices.

  • The RTA is equally beneficial for all diagnostic stages: screening of at-risk groups, diagnosing existing patients and objectively monitoring subtle changes over time.

  • The RTA’s integrated Digital High Resolution Fundus Imaging capability provides a combined high resolution, wide field-angle fundus image as a stand-alone image or as a unique overlay of a retinal thickness map automatically superimposed on the patient’s fundus image.

  • The RTA 5’s 3D Anatomy Imager feature generates a 3D cut section of the retina or disc. The interactive application provides new possibilities in imaging, a great patient education tool and a unique visual format for professional presentations.

  • The RTA 5’s Vision Wellness is a baseline exam especially designed for testing general or at-risk populations. The exam can be non-mydriatic, quick and easy to perform, and is automatically archived for periodical follow ups.
